By Elizabeth George, departing Student Worker who graduates from Baylor this month.

The students have all gone home. Finals are long over and our center is returning back to its (somewhat) normal operations. St. Peter’s has been blessed in so many ways this past semester. We’d like to take a chance to share with you all of our blessings.

  • Father Anthony, Deacon Frank and Miss Janet, our staff members, never get thanked enough. We love them dearly and St. Peter’s would not be the same without them.
  • Ms. Debbie, our center secretary and coordinator had her 1 year anniversary at St. Peter’s at the beginning of the school year. We couldn’t do everything that we do without her!
  • We’ve had several new ministries develop over the past semester including Women at the Well, Damascus House and even a Theology of the Body study group.
  • We raised $100,000 dollars to bring FOCUS to St. Peter’s in the future!
  • We launched this, the Baylor Catholic Blog, and see an average of 20 views per day featuring posts by students, staff, podcasts of Sunday homilies, photos, and links to other Catholic content.

I can’t wait to see what 2012 brings for St. Peter’s! God bless, and have a safe and blessed Christmas break. See you in January!
